The Bargeman and Woman's residence is one of complexity but at the same time simplicity. The use of light throughout the house it may be to cover their dark past or is to reach out to the community. The river they live on is one of the largest parts of their lives, that is why there is a view to the river from almost any part of the house especially the reflection spaces. the tower branches out to the river and in turn with the bank creating a complete sequence which links their life on the land to the life on the water.
